“She is nothing, Lady Elaine. Don't let her bother you." Gamma Genevieve said to me and I waived it off immediately.

“Of course not. She is just fighting for herself like you said, perhaps I should do the same too.”

Amy briskly walked ahead of us just so she could open the door. I trudged into the room, straight to bed, and lay down with my head propped against my elbow.

Gamma Genevieve entered too.

Then, Amy closed the door shut as she returned to my closet to organize some of my stuff half attended to.

I watched how Gamma Genevieve scrutinized the whole room before stating. “Wow, this is so beautiful. It is almost like your chambers back at the Lycanfrost pack, only smaller."

“Yes, it is.” I gestured at the lone couch. “Please sit."

She took her seat and then leaned her back into the arm of the chair.
