Chapter 16: Return to Innocence

Dylan's POV:

"No!" I keep shaking my head and repeating that word over and over. I still can't believe that I am about to lose Aria. "Aria, please wake up!" I panicky said to her while sitting on the ground watching her lifeless body resting on my lap.

I took a deep breath and let the air out slowly while tapping my fist against my lips lightly and thinking of what to do next until I think of a way that could save her life. It may be risky and I have no other choice but to do it. I can still sense the spirit inside her and feel the warmth of her body. Her soul is still intact and hasn't left her body yet, so I have to do it quickly before it's too late.

I placed my hand on the back of her head, lift her slowly and then I lean my face closer to her face. Without having second thoughts, I shut my eyes close for a dramatic effect then press my lips over her lips giving her the most passionate kiss.
