Chapter 51: Lies, deceit and betrayal
Dylan's POV:
After we defeated the sea monster, the hot steam that is covering the entire cave slowly vanishes as the temperature decreased. Everything becomes visibly clear, and we saw a tiny door towards a certain room.
"That must be the place where your wing is hidden," Clarren curiously said Aria.
"There's only one way to find out," Aria anxiously said.
She immediately runs towards the door and before she could even open it, I hold her arms and pull her away from it.
"We need to be careful. There could be a trap behind that door," I warned her.
Clarren and Oslec were standing behind me in attack position while I opened the door slowly and took a peek to see if there are enemies inside. There is no one inside and all I can see was a pedestal in the middle of the room.
"The coast is clear," I told them and wave my hand
