Chapter 32

Anita quietly sneaked into the house, hoping to not get caught by her father, but unknownist to her, he was seated in the living room waiting for her.

She had called Ashley to switch off the light for her, to make it easier for her to get in without his knowledge.

She hastened her pace to her room, but halt halfway when she saw the light turned on her.

She shuddered and fell to the floor, but quickly stood up.

"What do you think you're doing?" Her father's voice echoed in the room.

The way he sounded was vivid that he was still mad about the whole incident.

She came into view with him and quickly buried her gaze to the floor, shame engulf her.

"Because you know what you did, you refused to come home? Where have you been? Did you look for a boy and ask to stay with him so that you could have your way with them?" He yelled, making her cringe.
