Chapter 79

Anna widened her eyes more, applying a black eyeliner, while Billie sat on the bed watching what she's about to do. After applying the eyeliner, she picked up a black lipstick and painted her mouth with it.

She covered up her concealer and tied her hair into a bun before spurning around to look at Billie, whose mouth has been wide open watching Anna dress up, heading to God Knows where.

"Billie! Billie! Can you hear me?" She snapped out of her reverie, and jerked up from the bed.

"What were you thinking? Your gaze was on me, but your mind wasn't there." Anna asked in a croaked tone.

"Nothing. Where are you going dressed like this? What are you planning? You can't go out, have you forgotten you're pregnant?" Billie asked.

Anna cast her gaze down, she doesn't believe her father slumped and died, there must have been something that resulted in his death, which she has to find out.

Anita and her stepmother must have a hand in it, and she's determined to find out what happened.
