Serana POV.

The room is silent as we consider how to retrieve the sword. Only problem is finding the one who the sword belongs to.

“What I don’t understand is, if King Marius wasn’t the one the sword belonged to. How did he wield it?” Vilkas asks and I sigh as I look through the texts in front of me.

The sword of Isolda is legendary. The sword was lost and so forgotten. It is meant to be given to the one who can wield it the power to destroy a god and tear a hole in time and space.

“Maybe because the sword didn’t belong to him in the first place.” I say as I turn a page. For the past few days, every spare moment we are in the library, looking for answers.
