Calix's silence was disturbed when James tried to say, "This is pretty clearly fucked up, isn't it?" Calix's wife went off with her cousin, and the two of them decided to go for a short walk outside the Lombardi mansion. "You didn't really anticipate that sort of thing, did you?" All Calix could do was stroke his forehead as the questions from James continued to flood through him. This is unquestionably a disaster that may well happen.
