Veronica POV
It was Christmas morning; I was the first awake. Theo and I had been up until midnight discussing everything that happened while he was gone. He seemed pleased that I was no longer flinching when he touched me.
His scent was easier to take in the longer I stayed around him. Niko spent the time playing a new video game Jessie had gotten with him. I was surprised at Theo’s response when I told him I was thinking about having another child. One with Nikola.
