An hour passed but there was no word from the doctors, I rushed to nurses who emerged out to bring some medicines inside but they refused to answer which grew my impatience and fear.

“Mr. Linwood, I know it’s a very tough time for you but we think it’s not an accident but a planned attack on your wife. The cab driver died on the spot, luckily your wife survived but she could be dead too if the car didn’t roll and fall on the other side. We have increased the security around the hospital.” The police chief said to me.

I lifted my head and looked at him. He had a serious look on his face and it made me think of only two names. I clenched my fists and smashed the bench.

“Calm down, Mr. Linwood. We can come tomorrow but this can’t wait for any longer.” He said and turned to leave.
