Chapter 60: Malcolm Wilson

ARIA'S POV:

He wouldn't even tell me anything. I will regret it. Regret what? What was there to regret that I have not regretted all this time?

"Fine." I said to him. But just know that I will keep pestering you until you say everything." I said to him, getting up from the seat he had offered me.

I got to the door, turned around, and looked at him. He was still seated, sipping his own cup of tea. He hadn't moved a single muscle when I made a move to take my leave. What a beautiful way to treat your guest!

"It was nice meeting you, grandfather." I said to him: He still didn't budge. "Now I know who this mysterious grandfather of mine is." I said, opening the door and banging it behind me.

The rain had stopped falling, so I could finally walk home without the fear of catching a cold. The only problem was that I was barefooted in such cold weather, and the floors were muddy and sticky. Before I had taken ten steps from the house in the woods, my feet had become very messy and dirty.
