That very night, Stay with Me was officially shut down.

The crew prepared to leave.

Mr. Landers was also busy cleaning up.

When Nicole arrived to see the chaotic scene in front of her, she asked sharply, “What’s going on?”

Everyone ignored her.

Many of the crew members had suffered her wrath during the shoot. Now that production was shut down, no one wanted to bother themselves with her.

Nicole’s expression contorted with anger when she found herself being ignored.

Mr. Landers happened to pass by, and she immediately grabbed his arm to ask, “What are all of you doing? Do you want to get fired?”

He looked at her with contempt. “There's no work for us here even if we want to continue working. That includes you, my dear Miss Pileggi.”

With that, he flung Nicole’s hand off him and went toward the front to queue. He would be taking his last pay.
