The shop’s employee immediately tried to market the dress with a smile, “Miss, 8,000 in this shopping mall isn't considered expensive. Besides, this design suits you very well. I think you should buy it.”

Lucy began talking her into it as well. “That’s right, Eva. It’s not often you’re out shopping. You should buy this dress. I can buy it for you as a present if you can’t afford it.”

Eva immediately shook her head when she heard this. “How can I allow you to pay for the dress? It’s fine. I won’t be buying it.”

With that, she went into the changing room to change out of it.

Lucy stood where she was with a slightly embarrassed look on her face. There was a look of contempt in her eyes.

What a cheapskate!

However, she quickly hid her thoughts and went to make payment for her purchase.

A few minutes later, Lucy left with Eva with several shopping bags in her hands.

They continued shopping along with the kids.

This time, they stopped at a store that specialized in children’s shoes.
