CHAPTER FORTY FOUR

SALLY'S POV

"I thought you bolted the door, Sarah?" I whispered to Sarah, and she nodded, I could hear her heartbeat, and I was sure that she could hear mine.

Two guards badged into the room, and I feared that we had been caught, I feared that alpha Derek now knew and had sent his guards to get Sally.

One of the guards heaved a big sigh of relief on sighting us, and I wondered what the catch was, his reaction marveled and I tried to figure out why he reacted that way, on seeing Sarah and me.

"Did you forget how to knock?" I barked at him as I tried to hide my nervousness.

"I am very sorry, I thought you both were in some kind of trouble, we knocked for minutes and there was no response, and alpha Derek had sent us to deliver a very important message, he would kill us if we wasted his time", one of the guards apologized and I exchanged glances with Sarah.
