SALLY'S POV

"What do you mean by the makeup artist was the last stroke to break the camel's back?" I asked.

My heartbeat had doubled and I could hear the sound of my own heart pounding like a piece of yam in a mortar. I could hear my heart racing, and my whole body shook in fear of what Derek must have done to the woman, and once again it was all my fault that someone else was in pain.

"Was that not the reason you were crying?" Sarah asked looking at me surprisingly and I became more anxious.

I could feel my own throat burning, it was burning like a piece of wood was lit up and placed there, I could feel the dear in my system like it was going to overwhelm me and I was so scared because there was absolutely nothing I would do about it.

"I do not have the slightest idea what you are talking about", I replied and I could hear the fear in my voice as it shook.
