CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

SALLY'S POV

Derek took his hands away from me and took a few steps backward.

"You are, you..." Paused for a while staring at me unbelievably fathoming what exactly the problem was and why alpha Derek was acting the way he was acting.

Alpha Derek picked up the jacket he had placed on the hanger and hurried out of the room.

"What did he see that made him so scared?" I asked but of course, there was no one present in the room to give me the answer I need so there was no need to expect it.

I stayed in the room for a while before two guards came in to get me back to my room, they had picked me up and made sure to lock the door properly before leaving. I returned to my room, sat on my bed, and began to sob.

Sobbing had become my second name, I didn't do anything else other than cry a day with no one to console me, I would cry myself to sleep, yet it wouldn't be enough, as I will still have to cry the whole day. It gave me so much cause to worry, and my whole system was getting weak.
