CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

SALLY'S POV

I was overconfident and doing my shit thinking I was being cool and Alpha Derek would let me return to Alpha Lucas's mansion once he had seen that it was obvious that I didn't want to be with him, and that my heart belonged to Derek but I was completely wrong.

I had thought this would finally be my freedom day, he would get to realize that I love Lucas and not him, then he would ask that I be taken back to the moonlight pack and then he would go out there and find another mate for himself.

He would go back to the moon goddess and tell her his heart belonged to someone else, and she should give him another mate. Or better still check properly if she hadn't made any mistakes.

I thought he would see reasons with me, I didn't have to be in a pathetic condition first or go on my knees to beg him. My pride wouldn't let ms do so and I wouldn't either.

Reality dawned on me when my mouth wouldn't shut up until it was short forcefully by the deep stab.
