The box was a true enigma. Its smooth, polished surface glinted under the light in a way that seemed almost hypnotic. It was made of a material that felt ancient, yet durable, and had a weight that was far heavier than it looked. Liam couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and trepidation as he approached it.
