Liam and Penelope arrived at the Lycan woman's place, hoping to find the elderly Lycan woman who was going to help them. The address led them to a large wooden door with intricate carvings, and Liam reached up to knock on it.

As he did, they heard footsteps approaching from the other side of the door. The footsteps stopped abruptly, and a gruff voice called out, "Who's there?"

Liam cleared his throat and replied, "My name is Liam, and this is my mate, Penelope. We were told that an elderly lycan woman lives here who might be able to help us."

There was a moment of silence, and then the guard spoke again. "Wait here for a moment. The woman is currently being attended to by a physician, but I will see if she can receive you."

Liam and Penelope exchanged meaningful glances as they waited, unsure of what to expect. The door creaked open a few minutes later, and the guard motioned for them to come inside.

They stepped through the doorway and found themselves in a dimly lit room with a larg
