Chapter Thirteen

Marcellus's POV

“I apologize for our absence upon your arrival, Alpha Marcellus. However, I am pleased to inform you that we have successfully located our granddaughter, as you could see.” Luna Marzia says.

“It’s alright, I thoroughly understand, and I am happy for you to be united with her at long last.” I say with a smile.

“Good evening, Alpha Marcellus. Let's proceed to my office and have a confidential conversation, as it appears that there are certain matters that require our attention.” Alpha Gonzalo suggests. “I heard you are mates with my granddaughter and that she is currently in your cabin nesting?” Gonzalo said.

“Gonzalo, allow me to share an intriguing update with you – there is a fascinating twist to the situation! You see, she is not just afraid of me, but she is absolutely terrified, as if I were a creature from her worst nightmares. And to add to the suspense, she has sought refuge under my bed, creating a cozy little nest for herself.” Marcellus sighs.
