Chapter 6

"What is it with you?" I asked Saf because I could feel her getting more and more jumpy in my head.

"Nothing, I just wonder how is this conversation gonna go down."Uhh I so do not need this right now.

"I mean you did drugged your future Alpha, not to mention our soulmate."I don't know how I feel about the fact that Saf already accepted Atlas's wolf as her soulmate, it can't be. Not while I don't feel the same for Atlas. She maybe hasn't said it out loud but I can feel it, the closer we are to him the more excited she gets.

"I would appreciate it if you could calm down so that I at least have my thoughts in order." I say as the car pulls over. When I got out of the car Jeffery was waiting for me once again.

"Miss Knight, we were awaiting you. Please follow me."Jeffrey said as he proceeded to walk in front of me. He led me into their office once again where I saw our Luna Victoria standing by the window. As I stepped in Jeffrey closed the door behind me.

"Miss Knight, I have to say I didn't think I would see you again so soon." She said as she turned from the window and walked closer to the desk.

"Neither did I, Luna Victoria. I assume it was you who told him where to find me." I say as I too walk closer, to the middle of the room.

"You must think me giving my word as a Luna should have some weight, after all, I am the main she-wolf of this pack." She says as she takes a sit behind her desk.

"But I am also a mother, and for my children, I would do far more than simply reveal their soulmate's address."She focused her eyes on me.

"With all due respect, he is not my soulmate," I say while Saf growls in my head. Luna simply smiled.

"Atlas mentioned you don't feel the bond, but I don't think my son is mistaken. He has the blood of an Alpha, they imprint only with their soulmate."

"Well maybe he is mistaken, maybe the mistletoe got to his head." I say as I stand still.

"He informed me of that as well, I hope you keep that information to yourself. Besides the only reason you were able to distract him was because he was overwhelmed by your bond."She was obviously worried about her son's reputation.

"I'd say I'm just good at my job."I say as the door behind me opens. Saf was jumping inside my head so hard my whole body jerked back. As I turned around I met Atlas's eyes, he looked at me as if to make sure I was real.

"Mother would you please excuse us for a moment, I'd like to speak to my soulmate alone." He said as he walked in. He looked good definitely received from the mistletoe, he was dressed in all black. His shirt opened in a v-neck exposing his necklace.

"Like I said, you are not my soulmate." I said frustrated while moving my hands through my hair.

"Until we get that situation sorted we will keep this information a secret, you Kaya will stay here in the pack house and you Atlas will prepare for your ceremony in peace."

She didn't just say it, she commanded it.

"I'm not staying here." I say quickly.

"And where do you plan on going, from what I heard you left your home."How much could she possibly know?

"Mother let me handle this." Atlas spoke up.

"I don't have enough time to leave this in your hands, you need her here to be able to focus so she will stay here, we will deal with the rest later."

Atlas walked behind the desk next to his mother.

"You managed to bring me home so I don't doubt your capabilities mother, but the rest is on me. Please leave us."

She turned to me once again.

"You will stay here, you will not leave the grounds. If you disobey me I'll make sure no one buys anything your parents have to sell. They'll go back to being the lowest of Omegas, do I make myself clear."

"Mother!" Atlas raised his voice, but the Luna didn't care.

"Your father set the date, in one month exactly you will become Alpha. Until then you will keep your troubled bond a secret. The last thing we need is the council breathing down our necks."

Sometimes I wonder why we even have an Alpha is he has to run everything by the council.

Luna left the room leaving Atlas and me alone. He just stared at me for a few minutes, I imagined he was talking with his wolf. I noticed Saf wasn't by my side instead she tried to get closer to Atlas.

"Come here." I accidentally said out loud which made Atlas think I was talking to him. He can't know Saf can leave my side.

"I thought you wanted to keep your distance." Atlas said as he began to walk closer. "Unless our kiss left you wanting more."

"Can we please have a normal conversation? Sit down." I say as I take a sit myself.

"Of course. I am willing to let go of the fact you lured me, drugged me, took me back here unconscious. But the fact you left after I told you we were soulmates, that I can't forgive.” He genuinely looked hurt, something Saf didn't like, I imagine his wolf didn't either.

"Atlas first of all, I only did what I was hired to do." Which was true. "Second, I can't speak for you but as far as I'm concerned we are not soulmates. I don't feel the bond you claim we have." Great, not only did he look at me all hurt but Saf growled at me as she went to sit as close to him as she could.

"I am confident in what I feel, and so is Sky." He said as his eyes glowed.

"Sky is your wolf?" I asked as Saf lifted her head.

"Yes, and yours is?" Atlas returned the question.

"Safire, but I call her Saf." He kept looking at me as if he was trying to memorize every feature of my face.

"Safire." He said out loud and she jumped at his feet making my body jump up as well. Atlas called out her name and she came to him.

"I can reach him, Kaya, he is telling the truth. He is our soulmate." It can't be, but the further she moves away my body inches closer to Atlas.

"What is happening?" Atlas asked as he got up.

"You called for my wolf and she came to you." I say unsure of how was that even possible.

"Saf come back!" I ordered her but she didn't listen. She was sniffing for Sky, as Atlas looked like he was stumbling around.

"Sky." I say and Atlas falls to the floor as his wolf materializes from nothing in front of my eyes and comes to my feet.

"What just happened?" Atlas asked as he got up and walked in front of me, Saf by his feet.

"Why is Sky by your feet? How is he by your feet?" He asked and then looked down.

"Kaya, why is your wolf by my side?" Now we were both in shock.

"You can see her?" I asked, but if I could see Sky he could see Saf.

"Yes, you can see Sky?" We switched wolves.

"Yes, I can see him, now tell Saf to come back." I tell Atlas who is still confused.

"Saf, go back." He orderd and she obeyed. Now I had two wolves by my side, rubbing their heads in each other. Soulmate, our wolves were soulmates. But what about us?

"Sky come back." Atlas called for him but he didn't listen. If Atlas can command Saf, maybe I can do the same with Sky.

"Sky go back to Atlas." I ordered and he obeyed.

"What does this mean?" I was still in shock.

"It means you have to stay here, so we can figure it out." Atlas said as he came closer to me.

Stay here, in the pack house. When I have so much to investigate, I need to find out where I came from and I can't do that if I am stuck here. But then again, it's not like I have a place to stay.

"I do not want to be trapped here, and I don't want people to think of me as their future Luna." Why do I feel bad all of a sudden?

"Would it really be so terrible to become my Luna?" He said as he closed the distance between us.

I don't have words to answer that question, especially not with Atlas so close to me.

"Kaya." He said my name as he lifted my chin to meet my eyes.

His hands crossed my cheeks while his nose played with mine until our lips finally met. At first the kiss was gentle, and tender but it grew more passionate by the second as his hand came around my waist while I dragged my through his hair.

Our moment was suddenly interrupted when Jeffrey opened the door.

"My apologies young master, our Luna sent me to escort Miss Kaya to her room." Jeffrey said as I stepped back from Atlas trying to cache my breath.

"Way to ruin a moment Jeff." Saf bickered.

"It's all right Jeffrey, I hope you assigned her a room close to mine." Atlas told Jeffrey as he touched my lower back. I have to put some distance between us and clear my thoughts about everything that just happened.
