Lord Samuel kept me imprisoned in this room. I don't know where he took Lyra too. I couldn't perceive the scent of the twins. He allowed me to breastfeed them an hour ago before taking them away.

He knew those babies were what was keeping him alive. If Alex and Xandra were not here. I would have killed him for this.

He knew they were my weakness. But I have a plan.

I would play along. Make him believe that I was thinking in the same direction as him. When the opportunity comes, I'll strike.

A maid comes in with a blue gown designed with a feathered hem in her hands. She laid it across the bed.

"My Lord asked me to bring this to you," she said.

"For what." I glared at her. This makes her take a step backwards. She was scared. She definitely knew I was not human so she had to take caution.

"To…To…Dress up for the evening. He wants you to look...look good for dinner with him."

I almost said 'I won't' but I remembered my plan. "Okay."
