Escaping The Wolfshade Pack

As I had expected. Lyra agreed to help me. She said she was all in on whatever plan I had. She confessed that she had been planning to steal the keys wherever they were so she could free Gabriel.

Lyra made sure to wait at the spot we agreed on. "Trust me, I will get him out," I told her.

"Be careful," she said.

The keys to Gabriel were with Hendrick, a guard on patrol in the evenings. He usually keeps it draped to his waist. I had to think of a way to take it from him without his knowledge.

Hendrick was on his way outside the fort, it wasn't yet evening. I had a chance to take the keys away before his duty started. It would be easier to grab those keys now because I can't do that when he is already back in prison for his duty. After all, that would be too risky and suspicious.

After so many replays in my mind on how I was going to take the keys. I confidently initiated my plan. I pretended to be in a hurry and crashed into him with the berries
