Mild Conversations

Tiana warned me to stay away from Ryan. But I told her he was only helping me out of kindness.

And she says he knows her fiance better than anyone to agree that this was out of just mere kindness. She speaks out of annoyance. She says his frequent visits to my place would have been spent with her instead.

"You should know your place or I won't think twice to force you out of this town." She hisss before she takes off.

I could not fight her or challenge her. When she spoke, I stood there like an idiot. I think only a few words came out of my mouth to defend Ryan that he was not coming to spend time with me as she thought. But I knew that it was a lost battle because she already had this notion engraved in her mind to believe otherwise. So I let it slide. She should think as she likes.

I wasn't going to give her the privilege of ruining the little happiness I had now. She should meet Ryan and talk out any suspicions she might have.
