I sighed, pushing away the laptop, still not convinced about these electric fences that everyone seemed to use for defending their properties. I looked over my notes with ideas I picked from my research but nothing seemed good enough to keep the rogues away from my territory.

The noise coming from my stomach reminded me that I skipped breakfast this morning.

Last night after I sent Sabine and the she-wolves back to their homes, I stayed and helped my men to clean and dispose of the rogue's corpses. It didn’t seem right to me to have my men do it alone, while I went to rest.

By the time we finished the sun was already up and my sleep was already gone. Despite Ella’s pleading to go and have breakfast, I decided to use the quiet time to do some research. I knew the pack business had to be delayed since I was not in the mood to make decisions.
