Why the sudden attack? I had no idea. I thought I wiped those crazy dogs from the face of the Earth. I guess I was wrong. For someone who doesn’t have a leader or a pack, too many were now trying to mess up with me. A growl left my chest annoyed while Kieran continued to run, stepping over the branches. No matter who they were, I would never let them conquer what’s mine.

I got to the northern border where Isaac was waiting for me in a blink of an eye. He was talking to the men trying to come up with a plan in case it took us longer to get to them. A sigh of relieved escape from his mouth when he felt my presence.

“Alpha, thank the Goddess, you are here” he mind linked me and I raised an eyebrow.

“What, you thought we are going to let you have all the fun” I shut back and all the wolves started laughing. “What’s the latest?” I asked, looking around trying to assess the situation myself.

“They are a little over a hundred,” Isaac replied quickly.
