Sabine
I kept tossing and turning in the bed waiting for sleep to come. For some unknown reason I feel my body burning. I pushed away the soft blanket trying to cool off myself. The feeling I had for the last couple of months it’s back in the pit of my stomach, making me feel restless. I check the clock I have on the nightstand and a sight leaves my mouth. It’s a little bit after one in the morning. As I walked towards the window, rushed steps outside my door made me change direction.“Danger is coming” Inna's voice filled my head and I don’t know if I should be happy that she is back or worried about what she said.“Inna” I squealed happily. “I am so glad you are back. KadeI sighed, pushing away the laptop, still not convinced about these electric fences that everyone seemed to use for defending their properties. I looked over my notes with ideas I picked from my research but nothing seemed good enough to keep the rogues away from my territory. Last night after I sent Sabine and the she-wolves back to their homes, I stayed and helped my men to clean and dispose of the rogue's corpses. Sabine I was still in the kitchen when the omega returned with the empty coffee tray. She gave me an annoyed look and I wondered what I did to annoy her. Still thinking about my conversation with Kade and trying to figure out a way to convince him, I saw the omega opening the fridge and pulling out the bread and some ingredients. I remembered that Kade asked her to prepare some snacks so I was about to stand and leave when something caught my eye. The omega pulled out from underneath her apron a small clear bottle with a lavender flower in it.
