“Thank you, Goddess,” I let out opening the small iron gate to enter the worship temple.

It wasn’t a big construction, but it was the first project where werewolves worked among the gipsy people as one force. For me, it represented the union between the people who raised me and the ones I was part of, my kind. I smiled looking towards the moon shaped ceiling glass, sending another prayer.

I kneeled in front of the altar placing a sunflower at the feet of a handcrafted statue that represented the Moon Goddess. Alpha Eithan made it as a gift to her; his way of redeeming himself.

I took a bunch of sage lighting it up as my eyes moved to the Virgin Mother statue that sat next to the Moon Goddess. I grew up believing in God and the Virgin Mother and despite the fact my life had been a journey of good and bad with joy and sorrow; I continued to believe.
