Chapter 5

Parker's eyes get back to the window as he attains his unbothered countenance. "None of my business."

"I heard that student--" Andrew stops as the older shift a glimpse of annoyance.

Bickett's siblings reached the school and were greeted by a bald man in his late 40s with the badge of vice principal at the main gate. The place was surrounded by a crowd of students to get a glimpse of elite sons from the Bickett family.

"Here is the schedule of your classes and room number. Hope you have a great year while learning here and send good word about us to your father." The vice principal passed a sly smile showing the way towards the elevator only for VIPs. Parker replied with a cold nod while Andrew rolled his eye internally at the bald man.

The siblings get in the lift with their attendee and the door closed with the last sight of the bald man waving to them with a wide smile.

"5th year in this school and his face still gross me out." Andrew blurb out earning a chuckle from older.

The screen showed the second floor and the door open for Andrew. Before they part their way, he called his brother as he signed an attendee to stop the elevator.

"Hey, don't get in trouble..." The younger passed an assuring beam that he replied with a nod and the door closed between them.

The elevator reached the third floor and as soon as the door opened the whole corridor was covered with silence. Everyone's attention was drawn to Parker's majestic vibes that filled the atmosphere. His predator steps left their impression on the floor as everyone present in his way got side for him. His cold expression painted above his sharp-featured face with the well-built physique of 6 ft was enough killing for girls' hearts and warning for boys to not mess with him.

Suddenly an arm surrounds his neck and tugs him forward, catching him off guard. As he lift his eye and realized the voice of the followed laughter, his lips tugged up and his eyes gleamed at the person.

"Hi Bro!!" the person greets him with his radiant giggles. Parker quickly hugged him and the day's first smile finally cracked on his face.

"Hey, Daniel!!" Parker excitedly called this guy in a yellow T-shirt with denim jeans and neon green sports shoes. He had blonde hair with a charming face above his ripped body. His height was nearly the same as Parker's.

"Where is Vance?" Parker asked as he reached his locker and got the books while Daniel leaned on the side.

"Where else, probably with some chick." Daniel sighed as Parker chuckled at his friend.

"What goal does that fucker have this year?" Parker eyed at his back as his attention was caught by a familiar face.

"Maybe a century." Daniel turns around, following Parker's vision, and shakes his head with a done face. "This brat has already started." He pointed at the guy standing a little far from them, hovering a girl on the wall and swirling her hair between his fingers.

Parker threw his bag at Denial as he walked at that guy and kicked his butt. The guy falls to the ground with a loud groan. The girl flinched and ran off when Parker eyed her to piss off.

"Ouch my butt, you asshole!" the guy whined and Denial reached them laughing. "Nice shot, bro." Denial gave a high five to the attacker and both smirked at him.

"The first thing to do on the first day is you get ways with girls, and here your best friend just came out of near death. Now, who is the real asshole, Vance William?" Parker ranted at him while reaching his hand to stand him up.

"What do you mean near death?" the guy asked while rubbing his butt. As he stood up full on his legs, he got taller an inch than the two boys with a little less muscular bodies.

Vance had paler skin than the rest and golden brown hair. His green eyes were as mesmerizing as some magical stone. He was dressed in a half sleeves blue T-shirt showing off his biceps with black jeans and a pair of sneakers. He had a pendant on his neck, and his fingers were filled with rings.

"Dad caught me for secretly applying to change my section." Parker huffed, and Vance's eyes wide open.

"Then?" The boys asked him. "He let it slide this time." Parker shot a small smile with a shoulder shrug while the rest took a relieved breath.

"Now I m in the same section as you" Denial jumped on his friend's declaration with joy while Vance patted his shoulder.

"Sorry bro, because of Celina you...." the tallest one sighed with an apologetic lip seal for his friend's problem because of his cousin.

"It's not your fault Vance." Daniel and Parker passed a reassuring smile at him.

Vance massaged his forehead while ascribing to them, "I know still, I can't do anything for Parker to save from Celina. She is the youngest and only daughter of our William family. She is the apple of everyone's eye. Regardless of any issue, our grandfather always favors her, and she has become a spoiled princess. No one can stop her stubbornness, and no one can raise their finger on her."

Parker clicked his tongue and wrapped an arm around his neck. "You don't want to go on the bad side of your grandfather, and neither I want that with my father, so let's just skip these worries since I have taken care of it for now."

They smirked and the three head towards their classroom, passing from the crowd crushing on these breathtaking heartthrobs of the school. They entered the classroom and settle at the last bench on the left corner of the room.

"Hey you know a new student is going to join us today." Daniel cracked the conversation while scrolling through his phone.

"I do." The golden hair replied, gaining the attention of Parker. "This school usually doesn't give admission to new people in the 12th grade directly. I wonder how this person enrolled in last year straight with us so easily."

"Who is it?" Parker asked, looking around the class.

"Don't know. Maybe that student hasn't arrived yet." Vance also followed his sight around the students sitting there.

Soon the teacher arrives and greets the students. She starts taking attendance and everyone paid their full attention to the teacher. Suddenly the door opened with a thud catching everyone off guard by an appearance of a girl out of blue. Seeing a girl in dark clothes with a cap on, Daniel nearly jumped on Vance's lap in shock.

Parker's eyes gaze up to the girl with a straight face standing next to the teacher dressed in loose black T and grey sweats. She was an average-looking girl of nearly 5'5 ft with chubby cheeks, and a ponytail. Her facial muscles looked loaf yet oddly clenched to him as his sight couldn't stop observing her eccentric vibes. The teacher enquired about her name and everyone in the class got shocked when the next phrase teacher used to address her.

"I see we have a special transferred student here." Parker's looked towards Vance and Denial as they replied to him with big eyes.

A special student is a nerd-looking girl that doesn't seem from any noble or rich family with connections that she got admission to the state's most elite school. Reminding Vance's statement, Parker didn't get why they have enrolled such a student in their school against their policy.

As the teacher asked her to choose a seat, Parker turned his face back in front only to find the girl looking at him. He felt a hit of goosebumps over his body by her straight stare into his brown orbs.

"Bro, is she looking at you already?" Daniel whispered with astonishment. Listening to him, Parker's smirk broke in his ego. He looked at his friend and chuckled.

"One more down... without even lifting a finger." the proud teenager commented, making his friends chuckle under the desk and failing to listen to her choice.

Vance looked up and found the girl started walking in the row of their desk. "Bro she is already reaching to sit with you. Your charms got sharper." Vance shook his head in surprise as he hit his shoulder.

"I see." Parker chortled spinning the pen between his finger and facing his back at her. He waited for the girl to gain his attention, but to his stun when he turned around, he found her already sitting in the parallel row with another girl, that he remembered named Anne.

Daniel and Vance look at each other, at Parker who was trying to process their eye contact then the neglect she gave him after sitting just parallel to him. The two boys tried to suppress their laughter over their friend's lost face staring at the girl.

"Sorry my friend, we think too much since we have too free brains," Daniel whispered, and then another one cracked silently, as he gained a glare from Parker.

The next period started and Parker huffed in annoyance as the next teacher Mr. Nash entered their class. "I hate this teacher, he always picks on me for nothing. Why god? Why send him again to my class."

Vance giggled "He is a young and cheerful teacher, though." The annoyed boy replied with narrow eyes, "So what, you got a crush on him or something?"

Denial jumped in "Vance is good only at his subject and gets the highest grade from him, that's why he doesn't talk bad about him anymore." to which Parker rolled his eyes, "still a pain in the ass."

Their talk was interpreted as Mr. Nash's asking the new girl to introduce herself. All of them paid attention to the girl

"My name is Jane Martin. I m a new transfer student from Vanerka"

Parker didn't look at her throughout her conversation, though his all concentration was on her voice. He was listing to her every word carefully with a straight face.

"Jane..." his lips clapped together without his knowledge as he was lost in her deep yet smooth voice.

He came to earth when Mr. Nash command them to introduce themselves to the new student. "Great, now he wanted us to tell about ourselves and waste time. Dude, just recite our name from the class list. Why need to create this drama, man?" Parker fulminates internally.

Soon they got Parker's chance but he didn't stand up until Mr. Nash frowned at him.

"Parker Bickett. 17 years-old. Old Student" Parker stated with his cold deep voice shaking the whole class's heart. The silence was spread in his authority.

"And? say some greeting to your new friend." Mr. Nash called him.

"Who said she is my friend? I don't friend just like that, especially with a nobody like her." Parker stated coldly without any bother.

"What's with that attitude Mr. Bicketts?!" the teacher shouts but he just scratches his ear and sat back. Before he took his seat, he sensed Jane's gaze that made him uneasy and keen to spare a glance back at her but controlled.

"Parker.... what a rude kid." he felt the same girl's voice from his parallel and snap his neck at her only to be greeted by the same intense gaze as him. His mouth was open in shock when she rolled her eyes at him and then turned back to her seat without any hint of remorse for insulting him in the face. Never in his life had he felt this humiliated though it was an interaction only between the two of them and not public. Her unbothered back at him made him piss his teeth in the offense.

"This little!!"
