Lavi is shocked by the revelation. He turns to his soldiers and says in a cold tone, “Leave. Now! If I catch any of you leaking this conversation, your fates will be worse than death! Also, send Jemal here.”

The soldiers gulp and nod before scurrying away. Lavi waits until all of them are out of earshot before turning to the boys. Both of them are barely ten years old, small and scrawny for their ages. One of them has hazel eyes which means that he is a fae while the other one has dark eyes but his scent is strange.

“You are a vampire?” Lavi frowns at the dark eyed boy.
