Good idea

Suddenly the Alpha stopped and turned to Gerald.

“I think we should go in our wolf form, it will be faster than the car,” he suggested.

“Good idea, we have to beat time anyway.” With this, the duo shifted and then went on their way. Soon, they got to the border. A few minutes to the border they saw Monica, Lily, and Samuel.

The Alpha was surprised because Gerald had said they were no longer in the Pack. They were still on the move when he mindlinked him.

“I thought you said that they were not here anymore.”

Gerald chuckled.

“I decided to tease you. Suddenly, I remembered how we used to be friends back then before you became the Alpha. When you became the Alpha, there was distance between us. I do miss those days.” Gerald answered. The Alpha also remembered their childhood days. He and Gerald were close friends until position divided them. He missed those days as well.

By this time, they got to them. Monica moved Lily and Samuel behind her when the big wolves stopped in front
