Victor POV “What the hell man! What were you thinking?” I yelled at myself as I high-tailed it back to the pack house. She was in my arms and I was in hers. I could feel her emotions were all over the place, but she was happy and excited to be with me. As our kiss became more heated and frantic, her hands began to roam my body as did mine. Her warm, soft skin felt amazing under my touch. I could hear her heart rate increase and her breathing turned to panting in only minutes. As we got lost in our inhibitions, I asked her to be mine. Tori POV About twenty minutes later, we arrive back to the packhouse. I jump off Ivan, and he shifts back into Victor. As I’m trying to look away but subtly stealing a peak at his very impressive, muscled physique, he reaches into a tree stump and grabs a pair of shorts. I hear him chuckle as he pulls them up. “So, was that exciting or what?” He glanced down at me with a cat ate the canary look. “Honestly, I was terrified, but… “ Victor lost his smile to an expectant one. “It felt wonderful! Like I was flying! Amazing! And exciting.” I couldn’t help but laugh in giddiness at how wonderful it was to be with Victor and Ivan running through the forest. We’ll definitely have to do that again. “I’m glad. I’ve never had that before. Ivan doesn’t like people touching him. “ “Can I speak to Ivan?” He nodded and closed his eyes. Mystic/Tori POV “No, I am Mystic.” I break out of my silent cage in Tori’s mind and push forward, sending her to the back seat. Tori can still see and hear what’s going on. Having never done this before, I wasn’t sure if Tori could handle it. She is strong, stronger than she knows, but she hasn’t quite come into all her healing powers yet and she blacks out. I look around the room admiring all the artwork on the walls of majestic wolves and what appeared to be their mates and pups. Beautiful mahogany wood furniture placed strategically around the office. Behind the Alpha were floor to ceiling bay windows where he could monitor activities of the pack. The training grounds were just outside the garden. Victor POV I pulled up to the driveway at Tori’s Cape Cod and shut the engine. I walked around to her side and opened the door for her and took her hand to help her out. I followed her to the door and watched her pull out her keys and put them in the lock and opened the door. “Good night, Tori. I will see you….” I started to step off the porch when she caught my hand. “Victor…. Please come in.” She pulled my hand before letting go and entering the foyer. She turned and looked expectantly over her shoulder. “Tori, I don’t think…. “ She raised her eyebrows at me and put her hands on her hips. She was absolutely adorable looking, trying to be macho. “Please, come in…. “ She said more sternly and stepped aside for me to enter. I guess this is her way of telling me I have no choice. Tori POV Wow! I can’t believe I have a wolf! I knew I’ve had one since I was thirteen, but a wolf I will actually shift into! I’ve always been jealous over those in the pack that could shift into a wolf. I remember some of the warriors shifting into their majestic wolves so I could run with them on their back. I can only imagine the freedom one has running so fast and agile through the forest and feeling the wind rush through their fur. I’ve always wanted to be a part of that. Now I hopefully can. I just have to learn how to contact my wolf and get her to talk to me. I wonder if she likes me, even just a little bit. Oh my God, what if she hates me! What if I’m too ugly, or not smart enough! What if I’m not strong enough for her. Oh, I’m going to be such a disappointment to her, when all I’ve ever wanted was to have a wolf I could spoil and talk to and run free with. Victor POV I wasn’t comfortable leaving her alone. I’m not sure what it is. My mind is reeling, my heart is heavy, and my body has a sense of longing, as if I’m missing a piece of me. She’s only been here for a couple of days, but it feels like she’s been here all along. The entire pack, with an obvious exception of a few, thought she was very nice and were quite impressed with her healing of Taylor. I’m sure that would’ve been a lot different had they known she was the Alpha’s daughter, but Rick has his reasons for keeping it hidden and Tori seems to be fine with it. Tori POV “Mate” I crashed my lips to his. I grabbed a fistful of his hair and pulled him closer. I could feel his arms around my waist pulling us together as close as he could. The idea of his eagerness exited me as my feelings for him were intensifying. His lips were firm and sensual and soft like cotton, his hands were as gentle as if I were a priceless artifact. I could hear his soft moans escape breathlessly as he explored every inch of my mouth as if he couldn’t get enough of my taste.
