Chapter 28

Victor POV

I wasn’t comfortable leaving her alone. I’m not sure what it is. My mind is reeling, my heart is heavy, and my body has a sense of longing, as if I’m missing a piece of me. She’s only been here for a couple of days, but it feels like she’s been here all along. The entire pack, with an obvious exception of a few, thought she was very nice and were quite impressed with her healing of Taylor. I’m sure that would’ve been a lot different had they known she was the Alpha’s daughter, but Rick has his reasons for keeping it hidden and Tori seems to be fine with it.
