CHAPTER 44

Robert Landau placed his cup of coffee back on his desk the following day and stood up, going to one of his wooden drawers, pulling one out and rummaged through the files for a while. He finally pulled out a red folder, checked the papers inside before heading back to his desk.

Jordan watched intently as the older man sat on his desk and browsed through the papers. After sending off his family the following day, Mason approached him and informed him that he had already contacted Robert Landau and had set up an appointment with him at his residence.

“Jordan, it’s good to see you, son,” Robert Landau greeted when Jordan was escorted to his office in his residence. He shook Jordan’s hands warmly and requested for his staff to serve them some coffee. “You secretary sounded urgent over the phone. Is something wrong?”
