I went back to my room and thought about the conversation between Aquant and Torus. The actions in my past have scarred my reputation. Those males would never see me as their leader unless I made them. I had to do something. Our next training session had to go differently.

I laid in bed, mewling over my next course of action. I could practice by myself and try to do something. It would be better than doing nothing. Still, I couldn't go outside to do it. It could not happen in here either.

I stared at the ceiling, trying to come up with something. I had it! I could go to the ancestral world. It would be hard since no one was going to summon me, but I still had a few details on how that worked. If it was one thing the old man made me learn, it was how to travel there by will. I thought they would ban me after failing to be the King they wanted. I hoped they didn't. I needed that place right now.
