Mia and I entered the kitchen to Craig sharing breakfast with Aquant, Torus, and Martin helping him. Without looking over his shoulder, Craig spoke. "Mia, come and help your brother distribute these breakfasts to the guards."

Without complaining, Mia shifted right into the action. "Yes, sir."

I didn't stop at the kitchen but passed everyone and headed for my room.

"Aren't you going to eat breakfast?" Craig called out after me.

"I'm taking a shower first?" I tossed over my shoulder without stopping.

It was probably stupid to take a shower before we got into our training session but it would make me more comfortable and relaxed. I had to have a level head when facing those two mermen.
