Ava's p.o.v

I stood by my widow, staring at the cool blue water of the swimming pool deep in though. I still didn't understand how or why Renata had tasked me with moving those too secret certificates. She must have know that I'd obviously read them? I had played different scenarios in my head one of them was appealing.

I could keep it a secret protect the trust Renata had for me, in the process of hiding vital information from Ray and Bry. Or I could tell the two men and go against their Mother's instructions. Either way, I know I had a choice to make.

A knock on my bedroom door, pulled me from my thoughts. I knew it was either one of the boys and I didn't even know how to face them after knowing that they weren't related.

The second knock forced me to drag my feet towards the door, opening it with a very heavy heart. Ray didn't even wait for a 'come in', he just budged in. He had already stepped inside going straight to the bed when he abruptly turned to look at me.
