CHAPTER-6

"Listen to me, Dinara. It's nothing, The reports will come till evening, please try to keep your mind calm till then. Missing periods and nausea doesn't always mean pregnancy. I know it will be nothing."

Dinara swallowed. "Are you sure?"

Leigh sighed. "No. I am not but my heart is saying it's true. So I am believing in my heart. The blood test reports will tell us the truth."

"The home pregnancy test said I am." Dinara cried out in anxiety. She couldn't imagine his brother's reaction to the news. He asked her to always respect her boundaries. That was the only reason she never did clubbing or drinking. She was cursing the moment when she agreed to Leigh's insane plan and went clubbing with her to taste the forbidden fruit of freedom. Now, she was suffering the consequences of it.

Her mind went numb thinking about her brother's anger.

"The home pregnancy test could be wrong. It's not hundred percent accurate."

Dinara spared her a glare, Leigh was pulling the topic uselessly when both of them knew what the truth was.

Dinara hid her face in her hands and cried. "I don't know what I will say to my brother. He will get mad."

Leigh hugged her and both of them prayed to God that nothing like that would happen. But God was not listening to their prayers that day.

Because they got the medical reports that same day. And the colour of Dinara’s face drained when she opened the reports with shaky hands. Everything around her started to swirl. "I am pregnant, Leigh. I am pregnant!" She whispered as the report fell from her hands.

Leigh picked the report and read it. She stiffened seeing the words written in it. "What am I going to do now, Leigh. I don't even know the name of the man I slept with?"

Leigh placed the report on her table and held Dinara's shoulders tightly. "Listen to me, you need to calm down and breathe. Inhale. Exhale." She wheezed, taking deep breaths and asking Dinara to follow her.

Dinara followed her advice and took deep breaths to calm herself. Once they were calm, she made Dinara look into her eyes. "You liked the boy from that night, right?" She asked her.

"That's not the question anymore."

"Dinara!" Leigh scolded her. "Tell me what I am asking."

Dinara nodded. "Yes."

Leigh smiled. "See, it's your chance. You believe in love at first sight. Here, God has given you what you always wanted. This child is your miracle, Dinara. This child will give you the love of your life."

"But I don't even know him. His name, his address. I don't know anything about him! And who says he would take this news positively and agree on something?"

Leigh nodded. "Then we will find out about it. We will find him. He looked like someone who wouldn't run away from his responsibilities."

Dinara's eyes welled with tears. She loved Leigh like her own sister. She always stood beside her like a rock and she was glad for her presence in her life. "How are we going to find out about him? And what about my brother? You know how old school his views are."

"One thing at a time, Dinara. First we need to find out about your man and then we will think about your brother and family."

Dinara nodded and hugged Leigh tightly. "Thank God I have you in my life, Leigh." Leigh kissed her in the crown and sighed. "I will always be with you, Dia. We are best friends for life."

The night was hard for Dinara. Leigh was awake the whole night trying to calm her anxious heart but nothing worked on Dinara. She couldn't wait for the sun to rise and went to that club which changed her life in a single night. She knew that she wouldn't be allowed inside early in the day. Clubs are for night, not broad daylight but Dinara didn't care. She and Leigh went to the club and sat in front of the club the whole day keeping an eye on every single person who comes and goes to and from the club.

The morning turned into noon. Leigh was tired yet she was with Dinara. And Dinara was giving up hopes with every passing second. Her brother's angry eyes roamed in her mind. She clasped her stomach as tears swelled her eyes, a sob left her mouth but just then Leigh screamed. She screamed so loudly that people stopped near her for a moment. "What?" Dinara asked in worry.

Leigh spared an apology look to the people and pulled Dinara away from there. "Your man, he came in an Audi. Look there, he is.." She said pointing her finger at a man’s walking figure inside but they couldn't notice the female figure behind him.

Dinara smiled with tears in her eyes and calmness took over her whole body. "He is that man, Leigh."

"Yes. Now come on. We don't have time to waste. We need to meet him." Leigh commented, pulling her along with.

"I hate this decor. We need to change it into something Italian," Aria stated, eyeing the Russian-themed Decor of the club.

"Right. I hate everything related to Russians," Leonus commented. "Vito will handle it," he said and turned to Aria. "You need to leave. Mom is waiting for you at home. Go and spend some time with her."

Aria closed her eyes and sighed. "She will talk about my marriage and family, Leo. She doesn't understand that I don't want it."

Leonus sighed. "Then give her hope. Even a false one. Tell her that you will marry for love one day. Tell her about Lucas, Aria. You are marrying him anyway for the throne once Dad officially talks to you about it. He is the safest bet you have. Make her happy. She is our mother. It's our responsibility to make her happy."

Aria sighed. "Fine." She muttered before leaving while Leonus watched his men sanitising the Russian germs off the place.

But suddenly a voice fell into his ears and he froze. Because the soft voice was similar to the woman he slept with a few weeks ago. He remembered her sweet voice and moans from that night very well.

Leonus turned around and was stunned to see that girl standing in front of him with tears in her hazel eyes.

He frowned as the hopeful look in her eyes was not giving him a good feeling. "What are you doing here this early?" He asked, looking around suspiciously. Everything around him flashed red signs when the girl in front of her let out a sob in answer.

"The night we…" she let out another sob as her hands went to her belly and she wheezed at once. "...I am pregnant."

Leonus’s brows pulled together with her statement as he didn't get her at first when she flashed the news to him but when those words sat in his mind slowly, he blinked in shock.

And his world crashed like a Tornado.
