"Barlion?"

Lord Viper called out as soon as he saw the horse stop in front of him.

Barlion stopped the horse and took a few seconds to look at his father and the small boat behind him. I could feel his shoulders tense at the sight of the small boat, probably wondering why the former King would use such a small boat when he deserved one as large as a house.

Barlion tapped at my joined hands as if to tell me to let go then he kicked his right leg over the horse's head and slid down the side. Then he reached up, taking ahold on my waist with both of his hands to help me down. I placed both of my hands on his shoulders and let him support my weight as he gently led me off the horse.

Once my feet had touched the uneven ground, he took my right hand in his and walked me over to where his father was standing.

Lord Viper looked very flustered, happy, but very flustered.

"What are you two going here?" Lord Viper asked.

Barlion looked over to the boat behind his father before he turned his eyes
