It kept making a noise that I could not understand. As I watched the giant's eyes widen and his stomach rumbled, he began to slowly back away while holding me. My brows furrowed in thought as I puzzled through what was happening to him in this moment of such importance. Uncertainty shrouded us both as he nervously glanced around, unable to comprehend the sound which continued to echo throughout the room. His gaze then shifted back towards me as if expecting an answer, however I could only give him a stare of curiosity.

“Palla, don’t tell me you’re going to answer nature’s call?”

Palla, the giant who held me captive, did not say a word. Instead, he let out a deep moan of agony and clutched at his stomach. I narrowed my eyes in confusion as I tried to comprehend what exactly was going on. His breathing became labored as he leaned against the wall for support, a pained expression contorting his features. It soon became clear that something was causing him immense suffering;
