Natasha's POV

Lucien’s voice cuts through the air, his tone commanding and firm. “Enough, Lauren. Come with me.” His tired eyes bear a hint of frustration as he gestures for her to follow him. But Lauren refuses to back down, her determination evident in her voice. “No, Lucien. Natasha should come with us. She needs a break from all this.”

The room hangs in tense anticipation, the air heavy with unspoken tension. I watch their exchange, silently hoping that my presence doesn’t worsen the already strained dynamic between them. Lucien’s gaze flickers to me, as if assessing the situation before relenting with a weary sigh. “Fine, she can come.”

A glimmer of excitement lights up Lauren’s eyes as she turns towards me, her enthusiasm infectious. “Lucien, do you remember the old piano on the top floor?” Her words are filled with anticipation, and he nod, standing still as if memories of the musical instrument starts flooding his mind.
