Natasha's POV

Jacob looks surprised, his brow furrowed. "But it's so late," he says, his eyes wide and lazy. Jacob gives me a puzzled look, but he doesn't question me further. He follows me into my room and pulls out his phone. "What kind of weapon would you like to learn to use?" he asks, scrolling through his phone. I think for a moment, then say, "I want to learn how to use a bow and arrow." Jacob nods, his expression thoughtful. "That's a good choice," he says. "It's a weapon that takes skill and concentration to master."

"Why the bow and arrow?" Jacob asks, a lazy smile on his face. "That's a little out of the ordinary." I lift my chin, my expression defiant. "I chose it because it's a weapon that allows me to stay out of reach of my opponent," I say, my voice firm. "It's faster and more effective than being up close, where they could get the upper hand."
