Natasha's POV

Thomas keeps attacking Lucien, his fists pummeling the man with such force that I can hear the crunch of bones breaking. Meanwhile, I rush over to Lauren, who is lying on the ground, bleeding heavily. I kneel down next to her, and she gives me a weak smile. "Please," she whispers. "Promise me you'll look after Lucien. Make sure he doesn't get into any more trouble." I nod, tears streaming down my face. I know that I can't save Lauren, but I can try to promise to do everything I can for her lucien.

I find the strength to shout Thomas' name, begging him to stop beating Lucien. "Please, Thomas," I plead. "I need Lucien. He's the only one who can help me find my mother." Thomas looks up at me, his eyes wild and full of rage. For a moment, I'm afraid he won't listen. But then, he stops punching Lucien and slowly walks over to me. "What do you mean?" he asks, his voice low and dangerous.
