Natasha's POV

Later, I'm in my room with my mother, and I decide to tell her about what I saw Thomas doing - holding meetings with the other wolves. "I think they're up to something," I say. My mother looks at me, worry etched on her face. "What do you mean?" she asks. I can tell she's just as concerned as I am. "I don't know," I say. "But I have a bad feeling about this." My mother nods, her brow furrowed. "We need to be careful," she says. "These are dangerous people."

"Do you know where the bloodmoon stone is?" my mother asks. I shake my head. "Thomas has already activated its powers," I say. "It's no longer usable." My mother raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" she asks. "I can feel its presence - it's still here, in its raw form." I feel a shiver run down my spine. Could she be right? Is the bloodmoon stone still here, somewhere?
