Felix and Mercedes were sitting across from each other in his office. The situation had stabilized and Alexa was fine but just still unconscious. Earlier, when Felix was about to tell Mercedes the truth about her fate, Crystal and Jacob arrived and interrupted their conversation. Crystal tended to Alexa's wounds and Jacob carried her away to the guest room. Now they were left alone but the tension was thick it could be cut with a knife. The tense atmosphere had nearly faded as all of them were now gathered in the living room. Felix was seated on the couch with Mercedes close to his side. He held her close to him as if she would just disappear at any moment. Mercedes woke up and stretched her arms wide open with a yawn. She had a good night's sleep in Felix's arms. Speaking of which, he was already gone. Mercedes woke up from deep slumber. When her eyes opened she was still groggy but she suddenly remembered that she had a date. Her eyes immediately landed on the wall clock which read 5:50 PM. Feeling refreshed as certainly getting some rest had served its purpose she immediately got out of bed and dashed to the bathroom. She wanted to take a quick shower to remove all negative energy from her body.
