Beta Will’s POV
How could I fall for that?! Wolves from other packs had tried to manipulate me many times since I had become Beta and I saw right through them, each and every time. This time was different, the voice had sounded just like my mothers.
I had taken off without hesitating, I knew Alpha Erik would punish me when I got back, I didn’t care about the punishment whatever it may be, I couldn’t let my mum die on her own. She had moved away after my father had passed as everything around our pack just reminded her of him. I never expected her to move four hundred miles away and even now she still insists it’s not far enough.
I even abandonned my pregnant mate Lacey without saying anything, she must be going mad and probably thinks that I have abandonned her.
