Alpha Erik’s POV

Through the mate bond I could feel her sadness, disgust and resentment rolling off her and I am sure everyone else could feel it too. Hitting my hand away was something I didn’t expect, even when hesitant before, TJ would always accept my offering.

I went to follow her, fearing she would run again, Will’s arm stops me, his voice calm when he tells me that TJ needs some space. His wife Lacey reminds me that what TJ had just witnessed was like her seeing it for the first time because of the amnesia.
