Rebecca's POV

"Rebecca!" The female healer's helper at the Healer Center scanned my face. Perhaps it was because I had fallen silent as soon as I heard the ending of the incident that left me lying in this room.

"Oh." I smiled. "I'm fine," I said to dispel the worry on her face.

"Uh ...." A long exhale came out of this woman's mouth. "Thank goodness! I was worried you were in shock from hearing all that."

Once again, I shook my head to reassure my interlocutor.

Then, she washed my body with warm water and straightened my back while inserting a large pillow behind me.

A pair of hurried steps entered this room. But, they stopped here at the curtain. "Can I come in?"

And it was Ken's voice.

"Wait!" replied the woman who helped with the healer's task. She asked me to eat something very sweet and finished a glass of milk.

Then, she carried the empty cutlery away. "In a moment, I'll come with porridge and a potion that will draw out the poison that may have already entered the di
