Chapter 105: Bad News

"I'm sorry," I muttered with a sad look on my face. She moved backward with an angry look on her face. I gulped down into nothing as she glared at me darkly. Her expression and demeanor changed quickly. She didn't stare at me with those same loving and caring eyes, her expression was replaced with darkness and hatred. Her expression was hard to read.

I couldn't read what was going on in her mind. This was what I was trying to avoid.

How did she find out that I was the murderer of her parents? Who told her? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.

That wasn't my problem. I needed to let her know that I didn't mean to hide the truth from her like she thought I did. But what would I do?

It seemed she wasn't ready to listen to me. She looked cold and fierce, unwilling to listen to me. Why should she listen to me? I killed her parents.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me. I didn't mean to kill them but I was…" I took a deep breath and glanced at her, unaware of what to say.
