Chapter 53: What happened!

"What's happening to me?" I asked myself, unable to fathom the reason why I couldn't feel my leg.

I thought it was a joke until I couldn't move my limb. It was at that moment that I believed that I'd lost my legs.

I whined as I tried to get up from the bed but I couldn't. My leg snapped and I fell weakly on the bed.

Tears rolled down from my eyes when I realized that I couldn't move any of my legs anymore.

"Ahh…" I screamed out at the top of my voice and ruffled my hair.

What am I going to do? How am I going to recover from this pain? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.

I bit on my lower lips angrily until I felt the taste of cold metallic liquid hit my mouth. It was my blood.

I shook my head with a sigh as I remembered Asher's statement which hit me very badly.

I knew he was right. I shouldn't have gone to the contest but at the same time, I couldn't watch Jessica win over me.

According to the doctor, I wouldn't be able to walk for the next few months
