I looked up and glared at Lucas who came and ruined the wonderful moment I was having with my mate.

"What do you want?" I didn't hide the anger in my voice. He smiled instead.

He leaned closer to me and whispered into my ears. "The elder had organized a meeting, and they want you to be there,"

I tightened my knuckles and bit on my lower lips until it almost bled. It's quite frustrating that they had to organize a meeting when I was having a nice time with my mate.

Lucas, who noticed my changed countenance, chuckled and said. "Don't worry, Alpha. Your mate won't run away. She's all yours,"

I stood up from the bed and adjusted my dress. "Something came up, and it's urgent. I would have to go now but I promise to be back as soon as I'm done with the business," I said.
